App license and purchases
For copies downloaded from the Mac App Store, Apple’s standard End User License Agreement applies. This page does not replace that agreement. If another download includes a separate license, that license applies to that copy.
The planned Mac App Store release is a one-time purchase. The store listing shows the price and what is included before you buy. Apple handles payment, download access, and refund requests under its store terms. You can request an App Store refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. A purchase does not promise every future major version or support indefinitely.
Your files belong to you
You retain ownership of your files. Use Pinch only with files you have permission to process. Pinch works locally; we do not acquire rights to your content. See the privacy policy for details.
Compression and backups
Results depend on your files, formats, and settings. Lossy compression can change image or video quality; conversion can remove metadata. We do not promise a particular file size or reduction.
Pinch keeps originals by default, but you can enable replacement and screenshot cleanup. Review your settings and keep backups of important files. Undo is limited to the current session and is not a backup service.
Updates and your rights
Pinch may change as we improve it, and features depend on compatible macOS versions and permissions. We aim to make it reliable, but cannot guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation.
Nothing on this page removes consumer rights, warranties, remedies, or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Changes to this page will be dated and posted here; they do not retroactively change an existing purchase license.
